The Ma.Tra. 160 is a hydrostatic lawn mower with front cutting deck and grass collector. Created to meet the needs of semi-professional greens maintenance of more manicured settings such as parks and gardens, it also comes in handy to add the finishing trim to larger land-plots and to work under foliage, in support of professional machine.

Conceived with a meticulous and captivating design, the Ma.Tra. 160 delivers all of its tangible efficiency beneath the livery, relying on a performing Briggs & Stratton two-cylinder petrol engine - 16 HP and top-notch hydrostatic transmission.

Transmission

The Ma.Tra 160 is equipped with a single range hydrostatic transmission operated by a single pedal which controls both forward and reverse motion.

The speed achieved is 0-10 km/h forward and 0-7.5 km/h in reverse.

The front differential lock by pedal, which automatically disengages on release, provides better grip for the driving wheels on the ground even in conditions of high humidity.

The PTO clutch is electro-magnetic with blade brake.

Driving position

The comfortable driving position features controls that have been ergonomically arranged for easy access along with a sprung seat with an armrest to make operation enjoyable and untiring even after several hours.

The steering wheel controls the rear wheels and ensures an inner steering diameter of just 320 mm.

Grass collector

The 300-litre grass collector can be tilted over by means of an electric mechanism that the operator comfortably operates from the driving position, with the rear door automatically shutting after grass discharge.

The grass intake system is equipped with a throttle flow to optimize the filling and compaction of the grass in the collector.

When the collector is full, the cutting deck blades are automatically disengaged to prevent clogging.

The grass tunnel can be easily removed without any tools, allowing quick and practical inspection and cleaning.
