The Ma.Tra. 250 is a multi-purpose greens maintenance machine with front cutting unit, designed for cutting and collecting grass of gardens, both public and private, sports facilities and for all municipal gardening works.
The grass collector with hydraulic tilting at a height of 200 cm has a real capacity of 750 litres (inside gross capacity of 950 litres).
Thanks to a complete range of professional equipments, the Ma.Tra. 250 can be used all year round.
Easy handling, limited turning radius, a comfortable driving position and ultimate stability even on steep slopes and slippery surfaces ensure high performance in all conditions of use.
The Ma.Tra. 250 is equipped with a 31 HP Yanmar diesel engine and a hydrostatic transmission, continuously variable from 0 to 15 km/h.
The self-cleaning radiator guarantees both the water and the hydraulic oil are cooled to perfection. A specific sensor automatically reverses the rotation of the cooling fan to clean any dust and grass cutting from the intake grilles.

Transmission
The hydrostatic transmission has a single speed range, from 0 to 15 km/h, and it ensures high performance and notable hourly output levels.
The permanent 4WD, with four independent hydraulic motors mounted on the wheels, allows the machine to operate with ease, even on steep slopes.
Maximum traction and safety in all operating and grip conditions are guaranteed by the automatic differential lock (the operation can also be carried out manually by mean of a button).
The PTO clutch is hydraulic, multi-disc with built-in blade brake. The electro-hydraulic controlled engagement is independent from that of the load accelerator.
Driving position
The driving position is generously-proportioned and comfortable, with a professional sprung seat with armrests and all the hydraulic controls within easy reach.
The steering system, acting on the rear wheels, is equipped with hydro-guide and guarantees a minimum turning radius of only 19 cm (inside front wheel). The steering column, with steering wheel and control instruments, can be adjusted in inclination.
The Ma.Tra. 250 is equipped as standard with folding roll-bar, seat belts and lighting system approved for road traffic.
Grass collector
The grass collection system includes a load accelerator that ensures the maximum output even in special conditions of use with thick and wet grass. It reduces also noise and fuel consumption. The disengagement switch is independent from the one of the PTO.
The grass collector has a real capacity of 750 litres (inside gross capacity of 950 litres). A mobile deflector situated inside it, ensures it is filled evenly.
The hydraulic tilting at a height of 200 cm and the 30 cm rear overhang allow to optimise the grass discharge onto the supporting vehicle container. When the grass collector is full, the lawn mower blades and the load accelerator both stop automatically.
