With the 780 HY StarGate model, the new era of the BCS multifunctional two-wheel tractors has begun! The new, completely redesigned, transmission opens up the approach to the machine with hydrostatic drive for a wide pool of users: from hobby farmers to professional farmers, and from individuals to the greenery caretaker.

In addition, the new driving position makes using the two-wheel tractor, both with rear and front attachments, even easier, more intuitive and comfortable.

PowerSafe Hydraulic Clutch

The exclusive PowerSafe® clutch with hydraulically-operated multiple steel disc in oil bath, patented by BCS, not only guarantees maximum reliability but also greater operational comfort, safety and high performance in any conditions of use.

Focus

The user of the StarGate two-wheel tractor is given an advantage by the continuously variable transmission (CVT), especially in case of terrain that is irregular, sloping, when manoeuvring around obstacles and in general in cases where machine speed and direction are often changed.

The manoeuvre does not require any action on the clutch and gear levers, it simply requires adjustment of the EasyGrip lever positioned on the handlebar without releasing the driving handlebars for greater comfort in total safety.

Driving postion

The driving position, with handlebars adjustable in height, sideways and 180° reversible, has been completely redesigned and is now equipped with:

• Motorcycle handlebar levers which are even more comfortable to operate.
• Knobs with soft non-slip grip.
• Forward motion command with EasyGrip lever to continuously vary the speed and direction of the machine.
• New silent-blocks to reduce vibrations.

Safety

• Forward motion of the machine only allowed by keeping the red safety lever activated.
• PowerSafe® hydraulic clutch that ensures immediate stop of the machine and attachment when the operator accidentally releases the handlebars.
• With rear attachments: reverse gear not permitted with PTO engaged.
• Independent working brakes on the two wheels and enclosed in cast iron housings.
• Lever parking brake acting on both wheels.

Continuously variable transmission StarGate

Unlike mechanical transmission, the hydrostatic transmission allows the speed of the machine to be adjusted continuously, that is without having to stop and change gear.

The continuous speed change, in both directions, also takes place independently, both from the PTO as well as from the engine’s rotation speed.

Speed variation and direction reversal are obtained using the EasyGrip lever control with a dual advantage:

• no intervention on clutch and gear levers
• the attachment remains in motion

The work conditions are thus more relaxed and comfortable, especially in difficult operational situations, on uneven ground, during manoeuvres around obstacles or at the end of the field.
